Roadloans.com has struck up yet another relationship. This time, it’s with alternative credit reporting agency eCredable.
For consumers who may not have traditional credit histories, eCredable verifies bill payments that they routinely pay on time in order to prove their creditworthiness. Then, by using its AMP Credit Report, creditors know where they stand on a scale of A through F. By partnering with Roadloans.com, these shoppers may qualify for traditional -- as opposed to buy-here, pay-here -- financing.
In Georgia for example, BHPH dealers can charge as much as 36% interest on a loan. RoadLoans.com offers an 11.99% interest rate for someone with an AMP Credit Rating of “A,” resulting in a savings of $5,173 on a $15,000 loan financed over five years, according to eCredable.
Consumers who choose to use RoadLoans.com can apply online and receive pre-approved financing they can bring to the dealership. Their payment activity is submitted to the national credit bureaus, putting them on a path to traditional credit history and access to mainstream financial services.
Comment by M. Daryl Schneider on July 11, 2012 at 5:00pm Yes and they charge huge fees that only the largest dealers can afford for the leads. Lets not go knocking the BHPH dealers who actually provide an honest service. There are still some people for whom there is no other choice. I am not a BHPH dealer by the way but I do a lot of sub-prime loan deals.
