Captive Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. applied today to form Nissan Bank U.S., an industrial bank chartered in Salt Lake City. If approved by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., Nissan Bank U.S. would commercially finance Nissan, Infiniti and non-Nissan dealerships, according to today’s release.
